📢 2023 New Announcements 📢 We are glad and appreciative to announce that PATVH Georgia, USA will host two dhamma teaching series in 2023. Ven. Kumarābhivamsā will continue his teaching on The Buddha’s Last Days (Mahāparinibbāna Sutta DN 16) and a new dhamma series by Venerable Paññādhikālaṅkāra on The Profound Pāli Nikāya Study and Discussion on its Daily Applications, starting March 18, 2023, 1st and 3rd Saturday/Sunday of the month,
☸️ We are very honored to have Venerable Sayadaw U Aggañña, Bhante Pannadipa, and Bhante Paramarnada spent their 2022 vassa in Elijay. The vassa closing ceremony was held at PATVH Georgia USA meditation hall and Pavarana ceremony was conducted at our Sīmā site on October 9, 2022.
During the vassa period, Sayadaw gave dhamma talks, led a 10-daymeditation retreat, had weekend retreats, and constantly provided blessings/advices to the devotees. In addition, most admirably/ auspiciously, Sayadaw ordained 7 novice sāmaṇera and 8 novice Sayalays during this vassa.
We have most sincerely respects/thanks to all volunteers coming from Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, New York, Texas and Malaysia to support/sustain the monastery during this vassa. We also appreciate all participating yogis and novice sayalays/sāmaṇera who came from around US to practicing/mediating in Elijay. 📸 2022 Vassa Photos 📸

⛔ Cancelled – We are sorry that a dhamma teaching on aging gracefully by Venerable Paññādhikālaṅkāra will be cancelled as the Venerable is unwell and is unable to travel to Singapore. 我們與帕奧止觀修行林(新加坡) 共同舉辦由 勝慧蘭咖拉尊者主講關於法與優雅老去的藝術 November 4&5, 2002 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 由於尊者身體不適，無法前往新加坡因此取消。

Venerable Paññādhikālaṅkāra is Registrar and Associate Professor of the Patipatti Department in Mahāvihāra Dhamma-Vinaya University (MDVU), Myanmar. He is also the head and founder of Pyinnyaryaungchi Buddhist Education Centre in Myanmar.
He studied in the traditional way in educational monasteries in Mandalay and was conferred Sāsanadhaja-Dhammācariya and Vinayavidū Degrees by Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture of Myanmar, and Sāsanālankāra Distinghished Sāmanera Degree by Pariyatti-Sāsanahita Board Exam.
After graduating as Dhammacariya (Dhamma Teacher), he was appointed as a teacher in various Buddhist education centres. Subsequently, he furthered his studies at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and graduated with M.A. Degree (Buddhist Studies) in 2012. He also started teaching Abhidhamma and Pāli in English with classmates from different countries during his postgraduate studies in Sri Lanka.
In 2015, he followed the guidance of the Most Venerable Pa-Auk Tawya Sayadaw.
In 2017, he became a lecturer at Mahāvihāra Dhamma-Vinaya University (MDVU). He was also appointed as the Registrar of MDVU.
In 2018, he was appointed as a member of representatives in a collaborative project between University of Chicago and Myanmar Buddhist scholars. He was also designated as a member of the educational delegation both in United States and Myanmar.
Presently, he is serving as a member of the Central Examination Board in Abhidhamma & Visuddhimagga, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture of Myanmar (2019-2020 Exam). He is also a Religious Spiritual Adviser & Instructor of Pāli and Abhidhamma to foreign students and meditators.
Venerable is teaching Applied Abhidhamma (in Burmese) currently and has given Dhamma teachings, especially on Abhidhamma, in Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and America.
He speaks Burmese and English.
