Full Moon Day August 18, 2024

Traditionally, Buddhists visit monasteries on the full and new moon days to keep the eight uposatha precepts, listen to Dhamma teachings, chant, and meditate. In celebration of Sāvana full moon day, we are pleased to extend this invitation to spend a day in peaceful meditation at Pa-Auk Hermitage, located in beautiful Ellijay, Georgia.

The program will begin with an introductory talk and taking the uposatha precepts on Sunday, August 18, at 9 am.
